table of prompts.
Title: Red
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don Flack, Stella Bonasera
Prompt: 011. Red
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRM (disturbing images, maybe)
Author's Notes: Inspired by my mother, who wanted to paint the kitchen red.
“Careful,” he said and held a steadying hand out to assist Stella down the steps. She brushed his hand off with a smile and handed him the camera instead.
“What do we have here, Flack?” she asked, all professional, and he held up his memobook. “You CSIs are gonna love this one,” he simply answered and led her to the room.
It was red. The walls, the floor, the ceiling – everything. A dark, almost brownish red.
Blood red.
Dried blood, to be exact. Human blood.
He and Stella shared a brief look. This was going to be a long shift.
Title: Grey
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don Flack
Prompt: 012. Grey
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRC
Author's Notes: Sometimes I wake up in the morning (usually between 4 and 5 am) and think strange things. This time I managed to catch them...
The skin of his arm looked gray, Don thought and blinked sleepily. A quick glance at his watch confirmed that it was just half past six, and he let his head sink back down in his pillow. It was Sunday, after all.
He sighed and rolled around. The shadows in his bedroom were still deep, almost black, only interrupted by a few bright specs of light.
It was like life, he thought and pulled the blankets back up over his head. It seemed black and white, but if you took a closer look, you’d discover that it was all gray.
Title: White
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don Flack
Prompt: 013. White
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: Dedicated to Denryu... She's the one who stole my white shirt.
Don sighed in annoyance at the dark spot on his formerly pristine white shirt. Tomato sauce. He didn’t even remember eating anything with tomato sauce on it.
His eyes narrowed. Where did it come from?
He had no clean shirt here, at the precinct, not in one of the drawers of his desk like those people on TV always had, so he had to live with it for the day – red on white, like a gunshot wound, right in the middle of his chest.
He could probably throw the shirt away. He sighed. That had been his last clean one…
Title: Black
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don Flack/Sheldon Hawkes
Prompt: 014. Black
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRM
Warnings: Slash! If you don't like, don't read.
Author's Notes: Somehow I like this pairing...*shrugs*
In the half light of early morning, the skin that warmed his body looked almost black. Don smiled against it. He knew that it wasn’t really black, more of a warm, chocolate brown. A dark arm was wrapped securely around his waist, and warm, not quite black fingers cast black shadows over his own pale flesh.
“You okay?” a voice murmured close to his ear, and a soft kiss was pressed to the skin behind his ear. He shivered. Even the voice sounded black. Everything was black.
He shifted and pressed closer to Shel.
“More than okay.”
Black was good.
Title: Blue
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don Flack, Danny Messer
Prompt: 015. Blue
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: Who knows where this came from? It was, if I remember correctly, written before I saw "Live or let die"...but, if one is inclined, it's possible to see a mini-spoiler for that ep...
On his way from the interrogation of the suspect of their latest case, Don could only shake his head in utter disbelief while Danny chuckled from time to time, no matter how long and hard Don glared at him.
He somehow got used to some female suspects commenting on his eyes. How blue they were. They tried to distract him with it. This suspect had tried the same, and had almost succeeded.
How beautiful his eyes were. Like the eyes of an angel.
He had heard all of that before, but not in an interrogation.
Not from a male suspect.
