He sniffed. And sniffed again.
Stella gave him a strange look, but he didn’t stop. He had smelled something.
“Flack?” Lindsay asked in confusion, but Don didn’t stop. He moved forwards, following his nose. Stella and Lindsay shared a confused look, but then they followed him through the lab. “Flack!” Stella finally called out, “What?”
“I smell something,” he replied absent-mindedly and went past Danny.
“What, are you a dog?” Danny asked confusedly, but he followed Don, Stella and Lindsay.
They ended at the breakroom. Don smiled from ear to ear when he saw Mac, standing there, and eating…
“Cookies!”

Title: Sound
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don, Danny
Prompt: 037. Sound
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: WARNING: Mentions M/M slash (Danny/Don)
He woke up and already was half-way out of his bed and with one leg in his pants before he even could stop himself and blink at the clock. It was 3 am, and the ringing of his phone had woken him up.
The sound of his cell phone in the middle of the night usually meant work. It meant murder and crime scenes and stupid people and busy CSIs and paperwork and grief and hopefully another maggot caught and put away forever.
He grabbed his cell. “Yes?”
“Hey.” He could hear the smile in Danny’s voice. “I miss you.”

Title: Touch
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don, Aiden
Prompt: 038. Touch
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: Pairing: Don/Aiden
“Don’t touch that!”
A hand shot out to grab his wrist, but it was already too late. His fingers met the hot cup, and a moment later the pain registered.
Aiden shook her head and pulled him over to the sink to let cold water run over his hand. “Seriously, how old are you?” she asked, but he was too busy swearing to answer.
Aiden checked his hand. “It’s not that bad,” she said. “Don’t be such a baby, Donnie.”
He pouted. “It hurts!”
Aiden rolled her eyes at him, but she pulled his hand close and kissed it softly.

Title: Taste
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don, Lindsay
Prompt: 039. Taste
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: Just look at those ties...
Lindsay shook her head and pushed a strand of hair out of her face. “Flack! What are you doing?” she asked.
Don swallowed. “I’m eating,” he explained and took another bite. “Isn’t that obvious?”
Lindsay rolled her eyes.
“You’re making strange noises,” she said. “Noises I never wanted to hear from you!”
Don swallowed again. “And? It tastes great.”
“It’s a hotdog! It probably tastes like cardboard. With ketchup.” She snickered suddenly. “But then, I’m not surprised. It is scientifically proven that you don’t know a thing about taste.”
“What?”
She nodded and said. “Yeah, just look at your ties!”

Title: Sight
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don, Mac, stella, Danny, Lindsay, Hawkes
Prompt: 040. Sight
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRC
Author's Notes: Don't we all know and love them...
It was such a strange sight, Mac being followed around the crime lab by a seven-year-old witness to a murder and being asked, again and again: “Why?” that Don couldn’t help the laughter. He wasn’t alone – Stella had all but collapsed, and Danny and Lindsay looked as if they bit their tongues really hard. The only one who dared to smile openly was Hawkes, and Don – until the kid came over to him, cocked his head to one side, a strand of red hair falling in his face, and with very wide, very blue eyes asked: “Why are you laughing?”

Title: Shapes
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don, Lindsay
Prompt: 041. Shapes
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: Because we love our glasses...
Don blinked, but the blurry shapes in front of his eyes didn’t clear up like they should. Instead they seemed to get fuzzier. He thought about that phenomenon for a moment and decided that someone must have put something in his coffee. Some new drug…but who? Who of his co-workers would want to poison him?
He shook his head. None of them.
He wondered if Danny felt like this, without his glasses, so helpless and totally blind.
One of the fuzzy shapes touched his shoulder, and the voice of Lindsay Monroe said: “Sorry, Flack, I didn’t mean to hit you…”

Title: Triangle
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don, Danny, Mac
Prompt: 042. Triangle
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: WARNING: Slash, Threesome, Mac/Don/Danny
“You know, a triangle is a stable form.”
Don and Danny both looked up from the newspaper parts they were reading.
“Excuse me?” Danny asked in confusion.
Mac shrugged and dropped the pen he had used to fill out the crossword puzzle to the table. “A triangle. Is a very stable form.”
Danny nodded. “Especially in a relationship.”
“I hate triangles,” Don announced before Mac could answer.
“What? Why?”
“They made us learn a musical instrument in school. A triangle is an idiophonic musical instrument. Percussion family. That’s why.”
“You can play percussions?” Mac asked in sudden interest.
Don fled.

Title: Square
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Danny, Stella, Don
Prompt: 043. Square
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: is it time for the suggestive message yet?
“Back to square one?” Danny asked, and Stella sighed.
“Yes, back to square one.”
They shared a look of resignation and turned around to their crime scene – a hotel room.
“Got anything yet?” Don asked from behind them.
“Enough trace to keep us occupied for at least the next few weeks,” Stella sighed. “But not what we’re looking for.”
“We’re back to square one,” Danny repeated and shrugged. “This might take some time.”
Don grinned now. “Let’s jump from square one to square ten,” he suggested and held up his gloved hand. “I found you a gun with bloody fingerprints.”

Title: Circle
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don, Danny
Prompt: 044. Circle
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: Dedicated to Dee.
They were circling each other, like two animals, two predators, ready to attack every second, every muscle in their bodies taut. Eyes flickered, anticipating, guessing, awaiting the next movement, already planning a counter-attack, an evasive movement, or just a new taunt. Sweat poured down their bodies, made their clothes stick to their skin, made them blink to clear their vision.
They were circling each other.
The circle became tighter and tighter – until they almost touched.
It was just a friendly basketball game. But it was so much more.
It was a fight.
And Don was determined to win against Danny.

Title: Moon
Fandom: CSI:NY
Characters: Don, Danny
Prompt: 045. Moon
Word Count: 100
Rating: FRT-13
Author's Notes: WARNING: slash, Danny/Don. Dedicated to Dee, too. *hugs* You know why.
“I have to tell you something.” Don doesn’t look at him, and Danny frowns confusedly.
“What? Just spit it out,” he answers and rolls around. His shoulder hurts, where Don’s teeth have pierced his skin last night, when both of them were caught in their passion and didn’t feel the pain, not when they fucked under the light of the full moon.
Don’s finger gently touches the bruise. “I’m a werewolf. The moon makes me do things.”
Danny blinks. “What?” he asks, before he catches the wide grin on Don’s face.
“You’re such an idiot!” he says.
Don only grins.
