A/Ns: For humiliation (verbal) for kink-bingo

It started out as a game, a game between two young men who could have been so similar but are, in fact, completely different from each other.

For Tony Stark, it is and always has been a game to excel at without even trying, a way to show the world how brilliant he is, how quick with words, how sharp his tongue is.

It's his way of telling everybody that he is, actually, the bad boy - rogueish, sharp as a whip, and with a healthy dose of charm and charisma.

For Justin Hammer, it is more than that.

It hasn't always been, and there is no way he can pinpoint when it started to be so important. It only works this way with Anthony, he's definitely tried it with others, but no one makes him feel like Stark.

People think he's a little bit of a moron because of this, because he keeps testing them, trying to find that spark in someone else than Stark.

So far, he was not successful.

Tony Stark is perfect. He's smart, he's good-looking, he's very successful.

Justin isn't stupid, but he is nowhere near Tony's genius. Unlike Tony, he also had to get through puberty with braces and glasses.

He pretends not to care. He refuses to get surgery on his eyes because he just doesn't care at all that he needs to wear glasses. He got used to it. The teasing stopped as soon as he earned his first million, so why bother?

At least he is taller than Tony. Nobody can take that away from him.

And nobody can take this away from him: the hot burn in his belly and in his cheeks, the sickly sweet sensation of people observing him while Tony lashes out at him with biting words, cutting him down like a fucking tree and letting him appear like a bumbling idiot in front of everyone.

In a way, he loves Tony Stark more than he loves anyone else, but despite anything he's ever said to anyone, he knows that this isn't what people would call a healthy relationship.

For one, Tony doesn't even know what he's doing to Justin, and Justin is careful to hide it, to bite his tongue and not let his body betray him in front of everybody. He keeps the moans behind his teeth, and he only touches himself when he's by himself again, pulling up the memories of this feeling.

He doesn't stop going up against Tony. Instead of doing the smart thing, which is to smile, turn around and ignore every single thing Tony Stark has ever said to him, he nudges him on, makes Tony rise to his best form in verbal sparring, and he doesn't back down even when every self protective instinct in him twitches back violently.

Sometimes, Justin daydreams about beating Tony at his own game, of humiliating him instead of being the one humiliated, but he thinks it is and will always stay a fantasy.

And at the end of the day, when it's just him lying naked in his bed, his hands touching his own body, he remembers the hot flush of shame filling every inch of his body, every pore of his skin, and a sharp surge of arousal sweeps through him.

He remembers every single of Tony Stark's words, the sweet bite and shiver of publicly going against him and losing.

And then, when his body feels high-strung and on the edge, he sometimes imagines going against Tony and getting in one good quip, one argument-winning deadly riposte that will render Tony speechless; beaten at this game they've been playing since they'd been teenagers.

For once, he wants to see Tony Stark flushed, or at least speechless with the same hot embarrassment Justing knows so well.

Once.

Only once.

The thought of giving Tony what Tony has given him so many times is what brings him over the edge unfailingly, every single time.

He breathes hard, pulse slowly returning to normal. He wants to win against Tony, but he knows that words won't be the thing that brings him this victory. Words don't hurt Tony Stark, and more importantly, they don't embarrass him.

He needs something different to make Tony feel this good shivery feeling Justin experiences every time Tony publicly belittles him, embarrasses him and displays that uncanny ability of his to make Justin feel unexpectedly good.

He curls up under his sheets. In a few months, Tony Stark's expo will open, the perfect opportunity. That, he thinks, would be the perfect stage for finally experiencing the other side of this equation, of this give and take, and for once, only this one time, he will be on the giving side.

He wants to give Tony that.

All he needs is to find a way to get there.
