Today, at IKEA, there was this guy.

Unshaven. Short, dark blond hair.

Tall.

Wearing a jeans jacket, black stockings, a skirt, and black shoes.

Buying fabric.


As soon as he was gone, people started whispering. "Did you see that man?" "What was he thinking?" "How can he run around wearing something like this?" and "If he didn't want people to talk about him, he'd dress differently."


I don't know what's more important, to wear what you want - to be who you are - or not to stick out, and I'm definitely not in the mood to think about it right now.


I'm doing the cowardly thing today. I locked down my fic journal. I'm not having a good day and I'm ducking down because my first instinct was to delete the whole thing, but I already thought about that once and...yeah, overreacting much, and drama queen much? and that's fine by me.

Probably won't stop writing, but maybe I'll be shuffling my writing a bit around. Don't know yet.
