They kiss slowly.

Their tongues tangle, explore, stroke, while their eyes close, lashes fluttering darkly against their skin. Their hands are tangled, Don's thumb is slowly stroking over the skin of Danny's palm.

Mac watches them from his bedroom door. He is proud of the fact that he can see beyond the obvious picture of two naked guys kneeling in the middle of a rumpled bed, all long limbs and hard muscles, facing each other and simply kissing. And so he watches as their lips part reluctantly when Don pulls slightly away and Danny unconsciously follows the movement before he catches himself. He sees the fresh bruises forming on both their bodies, left behind by fingers and mouths, and he also sees that Danny's glasses and Don's badge lie abandoned on the floor next to the bed, half buried under a burgundy shirt.

Danny is strong, even if he hides it well, Mac thinks. There are hard muscles under his warm skin and his baggy clothes, and when he now wraps his arms around Don's waist and leans close, Don trusts him that he will hold him and allows Danny to kiss him again.

Mac puzzles over their relationship as he watches this kiss as well, and he finds himself wondering again if maybe Danny and Don have already enough of this bizarre love-triangle, if they want to go back to the simple relationship they had before they broke up, Danny hooked up with Mac and they finally included Don into their relationship.

These two look good together, Mac thinks, and they are so perfect: hot temper and cool sarcasm complementing each other perfectly. He, on the other side, is not only older then them, but he also isn't too good with emotions, he never was. It was easier with his wife, he thinks sometimes, than it is with Don and Danny. He always fears, with every breath he takes, that he's making a terrible mistake, wondering what they see in him, where he stands with them, and he often finds himself waiting for the day when they decide that they have enough of him.

His attention is drawn back to the bed when Danny chuckles throatily, a sound that goes directly to his groin. Danny tilts Don's chin back and kisses a line along his jaw and throat, then he coaxes him to lie back on top of the sheets and to spread his long legs.

Mac's mouth gets dry at this picture.

But when he expects Danny to proceed and touch Don, he gets a surprise.

Danny sits back on his heels and smiles gently down at Don. Then he holds out a hand towards Mac.

"I prepared you a present.“ he says and smiles.

Mac's breath hitches. He carefully picks his way to the bed, bowing down to take off his shoes and socks and to pick up Danny's glasses to keep them from being accidentally stepped on.

He undresses himself to the appreciating, if slightly breathless comments from Don and the mock complaints of Danny who doesn't see too much without his glasses, despite the fact that Mac is really close to them.

Then he crawls onto the bed towards his two smiling lovers and thinks that yes, he is a really good CSI, and if he sometimes misses some important piece of evidence like the fact that yes, they love him as well, Don and Danny always make sure that he would find it eventually.
